Unbeaten Hallowed Dreams extended her win streak to 15 races Sunday with a win in the $35,000 Fantasia Stakes at Louisiana Downs. The Louisiana-bred Hallowed Dreams, a 3-year-old daughter of Malagra, completed the six furlongs in 1:09.05 while competing against other state-breds. After an early challenge from My Brent's Diamond, Hallowed Dreams drew off on the turn to win by six at the wire.
Hallowed Dreams is owned by Lloyd Romero and Johnny Gaspard and is trained by Romero. She was ridden to victory by her regular rider Sylvester Carmouche Jr.
A 16th consecutive win would equal the record shared by Citation and Cigar and could come in the Azalea Breeders' Cup (gr. III) at Calder July 15. A start in the six-furlong Azalea would be her first outside of Louisiana and first in a graded stakes. (Chart,
