Hunting Hard, a New York graded stakes-placed son of
Seeking the Gold, will stand the 2005 breeding season at Breezy Knob Farm near Ava, N.Y.
Thirteen-year-old Hunting Hard has sired stakes winners Bog Hunter and Gold Huntress and stakes-placed Bernie's Gold. Ten of his runners have topped the $100,000 mark. Overall, Hunting Hard has progeny earnings of $3.3 million.
Hunting Hard, who ran second in the Discovery Handicap (gr. III), is a full brother to grade I winners Heavenly Prize (a champion) and Oh What a Windfall and is out of the Nijinsky II mare Oh What a Dance. Formerly in Michigan, Hunting Hard stands for $2,500.
Breezy Knob is a family-owned farm operated by Brian and Pamela Mandryck.
