Hero's Tribute Ready For Stallion Duty

Grade II winner Hero's Tribute, who missed the first part of the breeding season at Douglas Arnold's Buck Pond Farm near Versailles, Ky., because of surgery, is ready to begin breeding. The 7-year-old son of Sea Hero out of the Damascus mare Eastern Dawn stands for $5,000.

Buck Pond also announced that farm stallion Seattle Fitz had his first mare, Punch Bug, pronounced in foal. Seattle Fitz (Fitzcarraldo--Hug a Slew, by Seattle Slew) stands for $5,000.
