Louisiana 2004 Champions Announced

The Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association has announced the winners of the 2004 horse of the year awards, voted on by association members.
The winners are:
2-year-old female: Equestrian Girls, bred by J. Adcock, owned by Jack Aertker
2-year-old male: Crimson Stag, bred by Sharon Pate, owned by West Point Thoroughbreds
3-year-old female: Happy Ticket, bred and owned by Steward Madison
3-year-old male:Nitro Chip, bred by Jerry Adkins, owned by Emmitt Pickett
4-year-old and up female:Destiny Calls, bred by Bryan and Vickie Krantz, owned by Vickie Krantz
4-year-old and up male:Witt Ante, bred by Sue Ball and owned by David Beard
broodmare of the year:Stabilization, owned by Foxwood Plantation
stallion of the year:Excavate, owned by Red River Farms
Foxwood Plantation received the breeder of the year award.
