Mr.& Mrs. William Warren's Saint Liam worked six furlongs handily in 1:12 at the Palm Meadows training center Saturday morning in preparation for his engagement in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap March 5.

Saint Liam was a 3 3/4-length winner of Gulfstream's Donn Handicap (gr. I) Feb. 5.

"He went very well," said trainer Richard Dutrow Jr. of the Saturday move. "He's right on schedule. We're leaving Thursday."
