Performing Magic , who stood at the Poughquag, N.Y., farm as the property of The Thoroughbred Corp., once owned by the late Prince Ahmed Salman. Eight-year-old Performing Magic (
Gone West --Performing Arts, by The Minstrel) won or placed in 13 of 18 races and earned $723,170, with his big win coming in the 2000 Illinois Derby (gr. II). He stands for $5,000, and his first foals are 2-year-olds.
