Rockport Harbor scheduled to work.
Fox Hill Farm's undefeated Rockport Harbor, who suffered a foot bruise on Feb. 20, has shown dramatic improvement and is already back jogging, the colt's owner, Rick Porter, said Tuesday.

"When they pulled him out of the stall this morning, he was so full of himself and confident on his feet that John (Servis) took him to the track and jogged him," Porter said. "He is hitting the ground perfectly. John plans on galloping him tomorrow and working him Friday, weather permitting. It looks like we dodged a bullet this time."

Porter said the injury looks to have been related to a shoeing problem. After being treated with Epsom salts and hot water, and an icthanol salve, the son of Unbridled's Song   began to respond immediately.

"He was knocking down the barn to get to the track and is eating up," Porter said. "We thought we would need glue-ons for a while, but we are proceeding with regular shoes after cutting a little off the sole."

Rockport Harbor, who has won all four of his starts, including the Remsen (gr. II) and Nashua (gr. III) Stakes, is scheduled to make his 3-year-old debut in the March 19 Rebel Stakes (gr. III), where he will face grade I winner Afleet Alex and Southwest winner Greater Good.
