Grade II Winner Baptize to Spain

Gary and Mary West have sold their grade II winner Baptize to Rodolfo Lamperti for stallion duty in Spain. Ben Glass Jr., who acted as agent for the Wests, said Baptize is expected to stand the Southern Hemisphere in Argentina.

Seven-year-old Baptize, by Dynaformer   out of the Storm Cat mare Screening Room, won five stakes, including the Arlington Classic Stakes (gr. IIT) and National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Handicap (gr. IIT). He retired with seven wins from 17 races and earnings of $534,196.
