Florida Farm to Assist Tsunami Victims With Stallion Season Auction

Roy Lerman, owner of Lambholm South near Reddick, Fla., has announced the launching of a stallion season auction to be conducted on eBay in two phases, with all proceeds going to the Tsunami Relief Fund.

The auctions will be held in two separate sessions, each lasting one week. The first is scheduled to begin Feb. 21, continuing through, Feb. 27; the second will last from Feb. 28, through March 6.

All seasons purchased for the six Lambholm South stallions will be on a no-reserve, no-guarantee basis, with immediate payment due for successful bidders.

The stallions involved are: Alysweep (End Sweep-Chronicler, by Alysheba), stud fee - $3,000; Cloud Hopping (Mr. Prospector-Skimble, by Lyphard), stud fee - $3,500; Express Tour (Tour d'Or-Express Fashion, by Private Express), stud fee - $2,500; Lido Palace (Rich Man's Gold-Sonada, by Quick Decision), stud fee $8,500; Max's Pal (Marquestry-Singin Up a Storm, by Storm Cat), stud fee - $2,500, and Safe In The USA (Gone West-Safely Kept, by Horatius), stud fee - $3,000.
