Coolmore Stud has dropped the Storm Cat stallion High Yield from its Australian roster for 2005.

The grade I winner will take up Southern Hemisphere shuttle duties in Argentina after he completes this season at Coolmore's North American base, Ashford Stud, near Versailles, Ky., where he stands for $15,000. High Yield's new Southern Hemisphere home will be Argentina's leading stud, Haras La Quebrada.

High Yield shuttled between Kentucky and Australia since 2001, with his oldest Australian-bred progeny now 2-year-olds. He is the sire of three horses that have won or placed in stakes, including Amazing Buy, who has won this year's Busanda and Wide Country Stakes.

High Yield, who was produced from the Forty Niner mare Scoop the Gold, won three grade I stakes and retired a millionaire.
