Stagelight Wins UAE 2,000 Guineas

Stagelight won the UAE 2,000 Guineas (UAE-III) Thursday at Nad Al Seba racecourse in Dubai.
The winner of the mile dirt race for 3-year-olds is by Montjeu out of the Shernazar mare Zivania. He won by three lengths over Gypsy Johnny, with Mr Pensky running third in the 16-horse field.
Stagelight is owned by Fieldspring Racing and is trained by Jeremy Noseda. He was ridden by Eddie Ahern. The colt was bred in Ireland by Kildaragh Stud.
