Yearly Report, a homebred grade II winner for Betty Mabee's Golden Eagle Farm, has been retired from racing and is booked to
Gone West. An injury was discovered following her unplaced effort in the Jan. 29 Sunshine Millions Barretts/CTBA Distaff Stakes at Santa Anita.
Bred in California by Mabee and her late husband, John, and trained by Bob Baffert, Yearly Report won five stakes as a 3-year-old last year, taking the Delaware Oaks (gr. II), the Black-Eyed Susan (gr. II) and Santa Ynez (gr. II) Stakes, the Stonerside Stakes in track-record time of 1:20.67 for seven furlongs at Lone Star Park, and the Melair Stakes.
