Century City's First Foal Is a Filly

The first foal by grade II winner Century City arrived Feb. 2 at John Greely III's Wintergreen Farm near Midway, Ky. The filly is out of the Silver Deputy mare Zinned, owned by Thomas Nichols and a half-sister to stakes winners Nice to Know and Cheers and Tears.

Century City, who also was an Irish group II winner, is by Danzig out of Canadian Horse of the Year Alywow (by Alysheba). He stands at Wintergreen Stallion Station, owned by Greely's sons, John IV and Beau, near Midway for a fee of $10,000.
