Patrol, a multiple stakes winner and half-brother to grade I winner Stroll  , has been retired from racing and will enter stud at John Carey's T.C. Westmeath Stud Farm near Shelburne, Ontario, Canada. John and Marilyn Hillier privately bought 6-year-old Patrol from the Hancock family's Claiborne Farm.

Patrol, who raced as a Claiborne homebred, won three turf stakes and placed in the Woodford Reserve Turf Classic Stakes (gr. IT) and National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Handicap (gr. IIT). His stakes wins came in the Dallas Turf Cup Handicap and the Rushing Man and Nick Shuk Memorial Stakes. Patrol retired with six wins from 14 starts and earnings of $401,320.

A son of Lear Fan, Patrol is out of English group-placed Maid for Walking (by Prince Sabo). His fee is $2,500 (Canadian funds).
