Citing weather conditions, Turfway Park in northern Kentucky has canceled live racing for Sunday, but the facility remained open for simulcasting. After its regularly scheduled dark days, Monday and Tuesday, racing is scheduled to resume Wednesday, Feb. 2, with first post at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas caused Maryland Jockey Club officials to cancel Sunday's nine-race card at Laurel Park. Simulcasting at Laurel and its sister track Pimlico Race Course was unaffected by the closure.

Racing was also canceled at Mountaineer Race Track and Gaming Resort and Charles Town Sunday for weather-related problems.
