Lost in the Fog, an ultra-impressive winner of his first two starts in 2004, gets the biggest test of his career in the Sunshine Millions' $250,000 Ocala Stud Dash for sophomores at Gulfstream Park.

Bay Area-based trainer Greg Gilchrist ships the Florida-bred son of Lost Soldier east after two flashy wins to start his career. He registered a 7 1/2-length debut win over maidens, going five furlongs in :56.84 Nov. 14 in the mud at Golden Gate Fields. He followed that with a 14 3/4-length bust-out at Turf Paradise in the Arizona Juvenile Dec. 26, breaking the track record for 6 1/2 furlongs with a time of 1:13.55.

Hall of Fame rider Russell Baze makes a rare Florida appearance aboard Lost in the Fog.

B.B. Best, a Florida-bred son of Yes It's True  , leads Lost in the Fog's nine rivals in the six-furlong test.

A three-time stakes winner over Florida breds, capturing both the six-furlong Dr. Fager division of the Florida Stallion Stakes in August and the FSS' 1 1/16-mile In Reality division Oct. 23, B.B. Best also ran fourth in the Kentucky Jockey Club (gr. II) at Churchill Downs Nov. 27.

Bushwacker finished second to champion juvenile male Declan's Moon in the seven-furlong Hollywood Prevue Stakes (gr. III) on Nov. 20 at Hollywood Park. In the Hollywood Futurity (gr. I) on Dec. 18, the Bill Currin-trained son of Outflanker   was pulled up when jockey Rene Douglas' saddle slipped.
