Menifee's First Foal Is a Filly

Millionaire Menifee's first foal arrived at Cedar Point Farm near Paris, Ky., on Jan. 27. The newborn filly was produced from graded stakes winner Duo Disco and is a half-sister to Brazilian group winner Big Baby Bear and U.S. stakes winner Misspitch. A son of Harlan, Menifee was produced from Kentucky Broodmare of the Year Anne Campbell (by Never Bend). His two big wins came in the Haskell Invitational Handicap (gr. I) and Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I), and his stakes-placings included runner-up efforts in the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) and Preakness Stakes (gr. I).
