This filly was the first foal produced from the first crop of Empire Maker.
Juddmonte Farms' homebred grade I winner Empire Maker had one of his first foals born Jan. 23 at the Lexington, Ky. farm. The newborn filly is out of Dokki and thus a half-sister to grade I winners Aptitude and Sleep Easy.

"Empire Maker's first foal weighed in at 131 pounds, and she's outstanding...with size, scope. and tremendous presence, just like Empire Maker," said farm manager Garrett O'Rourke.

Winner of the 2003 Belmont Stakes (gr. I), Empire Maker (Unbridled--Toussaud, by El Gran Senor) stands at Juddmonte. His 2005 fee is $100,000.
