First Foals For High Chaparral and Hawk Wing

Coolmore Stud champions and stallions High Chaparral and Hawk Wing were represented by their first foals Jan. 14, according to the Racing Post.

The first foal for High Chaparral, a two-time Eclipse Award winner who won consecutive runnings of the John Deere Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT), was a colt out of the Miswaki mare Miss a Note. He was born at Corduff Stud in Ireland. High Chaparral (Sadler's Wells--Kasora, by Darshaan) stands for 30,000 euros.

Hawk Wing's first offspring is a colt out of the stakes-winning Sadler's Wells mare Crimphill. He was born at Bryanstown House Stud in Ireland. Hawk Wing (Woodman--La Lorgnette, by Val de l'Orne) stands for 25,000 euros.
