Rodeo to Elite Thoroughbreds in Louisiana

Rodeo, a 10-year-old son of Gone West, has been moved to Michelle Rodriguez and Lee Thomas' Elite Thoroughbreds near Folsom, La., from Contemporary Stallions near Coxsackie, N.Y. He will stand for $3,000.Rodeo, whose maiden win came by 15 1/2 lengths as a 2-year-old at Belmont Park, has sired stakes winners House Key and Rodeo Licious and two stakes-placed runners. His runners have earned $2.3 million.Rodeo is out of the Damascus mare Wewarrenju, who is a half-sister to recently deceased successful sire Roy.
