Lane's End Employee Brenda Linville Dead

Brenda Linville, a secretary in the stallion division at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky., died Jan. 5 of pancreatic cancer at a Lexington hospital. She was 41.

Linville, who worked at Lane's End for five years, had battled cancer since May. To help Linville, farm co-worker Jill McCully ran in the Chicago Marathon in October to help raise money. Some $50,000 was raised for the Brenda Linville Cancer Fund.

Linville's survivors include her husband, Galen.
