OBS Juvenile Auction to Offer 207 Head

The Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. has catalogued 207 horses for its select sale of 2-year-olds in training on Feb. 8 at Calder Race course in South Florida. The total is about the same as last year when 204 were listed. This year's catalogue can be viewed at www.obssales.com.
Business boomed during 2003 edition of the auction, which produced its highest average price ever and its most expensive horse, a $1.6 million son of Wild Rush. The gross and median grew 19.9% and 16.7%, respectively, while the average increased 25.2%.
Under tacks shows for this year's sale are scheduled for Jan. 31 and Feb. 6.
