Forestry and Stravinsky Now Fathers

Foals from the first crop of grade I winner Forestry and group I winner Stravinsky were foaled within two days of each other. Forestry's offspring, a colt out of Something Else (by Seeking the Gold), was born Jan 19 at the Taylor family's Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky. The colt is owned by Prince Ahmed Salman's The Thoroughbred Corp. Something Else will be bred back to Forestry. Five-year-old Forestry (Storm Cat -- Shared Interest, by Pleasant Colony) stands at Taylor Made.

Stravinsky's offspring, a filly produced from Careless Kitten (by Caro), was born Jan 17 at Offutt-Cole Farm near Midway, Ky. A half-sister to English group II winner Arkadian Hero, the filly is owned by Gaines-Gentry Thoroughbreds. Five-year-old Stravinsky (Nureyev -- Fire the Groom, by Blushing Groom) stands at Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky.
