Bob Baffert, off to a solid start at Santa Anita Park, said Yearly Report is on course for the $500,000 Sunshine Millions Distaff at Santa Anita on Jan. 29 despite missing the La Brea Stakes (gr. I) last week due to a minor ankle ailment.

"She's back to the track," said Baffert, who has recorded with three winners, three seconds and one third from 14 starters through the first six days of racing. "It depends on how much more rain we get if she can make the race."

Baffert's Roman Ruler, the beaten favorite in the Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) who is expected to make his 3-year-old debut at Santa Anita this meet, worked six furlongs on a "sloppy" training track Saturday in 1:13 2/5.

Roman Ruler emerged from the drill slightly the worse for wear, but nothing serious, according to Baffert. "He came out of it with a little sore quarter. He's had it before but he'll be all right. "
