Early Post Time for Thistledown on New Year's Eve

As the year 2004 comes to a close, Thistledown is moving up post time. Post time for Dec. 30 will be 12:15 p.m. for a 10-race card. The action will begin at noon on Dec. 31.

In addition to an earlier post time, the purses at the Cleveland track will increase 10% in the final two of racing.

"We've increased purses 10 percent for the last two racing days due to cancellations we've experienced with the severe winter storm weather over the last two weeks," says Thistledown's Director of Racing, Bill Couch. "We appreciate the cooperation of our horsemen."
