Pennsylvania Derby (gr. II) winner Love of Money was delayed in Texas due to inclement weather and will not run in Sunday's $250,000 Malibu Stakes (gr. I), according to the agent for Victor Espinoza, who was slated to ride.

Agent Tony Matos said Friday morning that Espinoza found out that trainer Richard Dutrow Jr. would not be able to ship the colt, who would have been one of the favorites in the seven-furlong event for 3-year-olds, in time to compete.

"Victor was here to give the horse his final blowout this morning," Matos said.

The agent said that Espinoza will replace Edgar Prado on Quintons Gold Rush in the Malibu. Espinoza begins serving a seven-day stewards suspension Sunday, but is allowed to ride in designated races.
