Mi Cielo to Rockin' River in Iowa

Fred and Wade Feuring announced that grade II winner Mi Cielo will stand at their Rockin' River Ranch near Winterset, Iowa. Mi Cielo, who stood the past several years in Japan after beginning his career in the U.S. in 1995, has sired four stakes winners, including U.S. grade I winner On a Soapbox, Japanese champion Eishin Champ, and 2004 graded stakes winner Scooter Roach. On a Soapbox' big win came in the Coaching Club American Oaks (gr. I).

Mi Cielo also has sired a dozen stakes-placed runners and has progeny earnings of $12.6 million.

A 14-year-old son of Conquistador Cielo out of the Thatch mare My Inheritance, Mi Cielo won the King's Bishop Stakes (gr. II) and Jamaica (gr. II) and Clark (gr. III) Handicaps, and earned $496,299. His fee is $2,500 live foal.
