Northwest Horseman J.C. Marshall Dies

Northwest horseman J.C. Marshall died recently from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. Marshall campaigned stakes winners Miss Manito, Miss Pixie, Peters Punkin, and Grambo. A homebred produced from Miss Manito, Miss Pixie won two stakes and placed in a dozen others and earned $301,619. One of her stakes wins came at Del Mar. Peters Punkin also was a homebred.

Marshall's survivors include his wife, Betty, and two sons.
