Aqueduct stewards hit Rajiv Maragh with a 15-day ban for his role in Friday's spill that hospitalized Pedro Monterrey Jr. Maragh, a five-pound apprentice who figures to compete for honors as top bug rider this winter, has appealed the suspension and should be able to put off a hearing until the winter meet winds up in March.Maragh was aboard Greatlengths U S A in Friday's opener when he allowed his mount to drift in front of Prince Peapa, ridden by Monterrey. Monterrey was unseated, starting a three-horse chain reaction spill.
