Tizbud, winner of the 2003 California Cup Classic, is on his toes for his next start in the $100,000 Native Diver Handicap (gr. III) at Hollywood Park on Dec. 11, trainer John Sadler said Friday.

Tizbud, a 5-year-old full brother to Horse of the Year Tiznow and multi-millionaire Budroyale, has been limited to seven career starts because of shin problems. Following his 2003 Cal Cup Classic victory, he was injured while preparing for the 1 1/8-mile Native Diver and was sidelined for 11. He returned with a fifth-place finish in the 2004 Cal Cup Classic on Oct. 16 at Santa Anita.

"He worked great here on Sunday," said Sadler of a seven-furlong move in 1:25 3/5. "He will work again Saturday. He likes this track."

Tizbud broke his maiden at Hollywood Park on Nov. 14, 2002.
