Grade III winner Ocean Drive Retired

The Todd Pletcher-trained Ocean Drive has been retired from racing and will be bred in 2005, with breeding plans to be determined at a later date.
The 4-year-old daughter of Belong to Me
was campaigned to a a record of 9-4-3 from 21 career starts. She earned $803,986 for owners Sy and Bonnie Baskin.
Ocean Drive won the Ballston Spa Breeders' Cup (gr. III), Noble Samsel (gr. III), Gallorette (gr. III), and Eatontown Stakes (gr. III).
Bred in Kentucky by James Conway and Thomas Mueller, Ocean Drive was produced from the Clever Trick mare Clever But Costly and is a half-sister to Traitor, Artful Pleasure, Beaver's Nose, and Sun King.
Ocean Drive was purchased by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for $160,000 at the 2001 Keeneland September yearling sale.
