New York Stallion Precise End to Japan
Precise End, who ranks eighth on the national freshman sires list, has been sold to Japanese interests for stallion duty at Hidaka Stallion Station. Both his sire, End Sweep, and grandsire, Forty Niner, who began their stallions careers in the U.S., preceded him to Japan.A New York graded stakes winner, Precise End is the sire of two stakes winners and three stakes-placed runners among his 12 winners. One of them, Seiun Vivace, is graded stakes-placed in Japan. Precise End has total worldwide progeny earnings of $850,000.Precise End stood at Lakland North, owned by Becky Thomas and Lewis and Brenda Lakin, near Hudson, N.Y., for the partnership of Thomas-Lakin and Richard Simon's Sez Who Thoroughbreds. He was scheduled to stand in 2005 for $6,000.Produced from the Summing mare Precisely, Precise End won or placed in all nine starts and earned $225,941.The deal was broker by Nobu Araki's Polo Green Stable and Taylor Made Farm.
