Wind, Rain Lead to Aqueduct Cancellation

High winds and a heavy rainstorm cancelled Wednesday's inner track opening day card at Aqueduct Race Track. It was the second cancellation in less than a week, as Aqueduct cancelled its Thanksgiving Day card last Thursday after two races because of the condition of the main track.

Rain checks for admission, parking and programs were granted to fans in attendance on Wednesday up to 11:35 a.m., and the track remained open for simulcasting.

Racing is scheduled to resume on Thursday, when there will be a Pick 6 carryover of $42,623.
