Byars to Leave Hagyard-Davidson-McGee

Dr. T. Douglas Byars, a senior medicine clinician, has announced he will end his 22-year tenure with Hagyard-Davidson-McGee Associates in January 2005.
Byars, who founded the Lexington, Ky. firm's equine medicine specialty department, will pursue a practice in veterinary consultation.
A graduate of California State Polytechnic University with a veterinary medicine degree from the University of California, Byars was an associate professor of large animal medicine at the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine before joining Hagyard-Davidson-McGee.
