Oregon stallion Cascadian came through with his first winner Nov. 13 when his son Cascadiansasquatch won the Bill Wineberg Stakes at Portland Meadows for owners Allen Floyd and Jonathan Nance, who trains the colt. Cascadian (Seattle Slew--La Griffe, by Prince John) is a half-brother to champion Blushing John and stands at Bar C Racing Stables near Hermiston, Ore.
