American Post, a French classic winner and English group I winner, will enter stud at Marc de Chambure's Haras d'Etreham near Etreham, France. A homebred for Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms, American Post scored major wins in this year's mile classic Gainsborough Poule d'Essai des Poulains (Fr-I) and last year's Racing Post Trophy (Eng-I) and Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere Grand Criterium (Fr-I) as a 2-year-old. An English-bred son of Bering out of the Sadler's Wells mare Wells Fargo. he retired with six wins from nine starts and earnings of $854,487. His fee is 7,000 euros (approximately $9,000).
