Griffinite to Metropolitan Stud

Graded stakes winner Griffinite will stand at Metropolitan Stud in Pine Plains, New York in 2005 for a $4,000 fee.

Unbridled's Song bred in Kentucky by Peter S. Blum, Griffinite was produced from the multiple winning In Reality mare Copious, who is a half-sister to multiple grade I winner and sire Devil His Due,
Griffinite won or placed in 11 of 28 starts and earned $344,267. His victories included the 2001 Lafayette Stakes (gr. III) at Keeneland. Griffinite finished second in the Coolmore Lexington Stakes (gr. II) and Hoover Stakes, and was third in the Brooklyn Handicap (gr. II) and Nashua Stakes (gr. III).
