Friday's Woodbine live card was canceled after two races due to extremely high winds and wind gusts.
The decision to cancel was made by the Woodbine jockeys and track management.
Winds in the greater Toronto area were blowing from the west at 36 miles per hour with gusts up to nearly 50 mph, according to Environment Canada.
Live Thoroughbred racing is expected to resume on Saturday afternoon with first race post time set for 12:55 p.m.
