Monashee Mountain Moving to Ashford

Monashee Mountain, a half-brother to Horse of the Year Mineshaft, will move from Coolmore Stud in Ireland to Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky., for the 2005 breeding season.
Both Coolmore and Ashford are owned by John Magnier and partners.
By Danzig out of Prospector's Delite, by Mr. Prospector, he is represented by 12 winners and three stakes winners.
Monashee Mountain will stand for $10,000. He stood this year for 7,000 euros (about $9,000).
Bred in Kentucky by Will Farish, James Elkins, and Temple Webber Jr., Monashee Mountain was sold at the 1998 Keeneland July sale for $1 million. He was a group III winner in Ireland at two and four.
