Werblin, a grade II stakes-placed son of Unbridled's Song, will enter stud at Thomas Reigle's Reigle Heir Farms near Grantville, Pa. His fee is $3,000 live foal.
An $850,000 Keeneland July sale yearling, Werblin won both his races as a 2-year-old in Southern California in 2001 and placed in the following year's San Rafael (gr. II) and San Vicente Stakes (gr. II) to Came Home. He also placed in that year's San Pedro Stakes. He retired with six wins or placings from 10 starts and earnings of $120,615.
Werblin is a half-brother to two stakes winners, including graded winner Roll Hennessy Roll, and to this year's Florida Derby (gr. I) runner-up Value Plus. Werblin's stakes-winning dam, Roll Over Baby (by Rollin On Over), is a half-sister to two stakes winners.
