Alajwad to Lou-Roe in Florida

Alajwad, a $5.5 million Keeneland September yearling, will enter stud at Louis Gurino's Lou-Roe Farms near Morriston, Fla. His fee is $3,500 live foal.

A 4-year-old son of Storm Cat out of the Affirmed mare La Affirmed, Alajwad won or placed in five of six starts and earned $77,445 in the U.S. and Dubai. He is a full brother to promising sire Bernstein and to graded stakes winners Caress and Country Cat, and a half-brother to graded winner Della Francesca. Caress is the dam of grade I winner Sky Mesa  . One of Alajwad's half-sisters is the dam of graded winner Wiseman's Ferry  .
