Black Mambo, a stakes-placed son of Kingmambo from the family of A.P. Indy and Summer Squall, will enter stud at Arthur I. Appleton's Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla., for a fee of $5,000 live foal.

A $1.1 million Keeneland September yearling, Black Mambo won or placed in eight of 21 races and earned $100,790. His stakes-placing came in this year's Reappeal Stakes at Calder Race Course.

Black Mambo is a half-brother to promising young sire Outflanker   and to two stakes winners, including graded winner Bite the Bullet. His dam, stakes-placed Lassie's Lady (by Alydar), is a half-sister to the dams of A.P. Indy, Summer Squall, and Lemon Drop Kid  .
