Singletary, upset winner of the NetJets Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT), is likely to run in the Citation Handicap (gr. IT) at Hollywood Park on Nov. 27, trainer Don Chatlos said Sunday.

"We got the soft turf question out of the way," said Chatlos after the Sultry Song colt won the Mile in his first-ever start on any surface other than firm turf. "He will stay in training next year. We'll probably use the same pattern of races as this year. I think the one turn at Belmont (in the 2005 Breeders' Cup Mile) will be to his advantage."

Chatlos said he received an e-mail from Kim Singletary, wife of Mike Singletary, the pro football Hall of Famer and current assistant coach after whom the horse was named.

"She e-mailed us to give the horse a big bear hug from us," said Chatlos. Singletary was a linebacker for the Chicago Bears and is currently an assistant coach for the Baltimore Ravens.

Chatlos was joined at the Breeders' Cup Press breakfast Sunday by five members of the Little Red Feather Racing ownership, including managing partner Bill Koch, before heading to a Dallas Cowboys pro football game.

"I'm one-for-one in the Breeders' Cup; my percentage can only go down from here," quipped Chatlos.
