Kentucky-based Irishman Niall O'Callaghan will take charge of 2-year-old Embossed (Ire) (Mark Of Esteem{Ire}) after the colt sold for 250,000gns at Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale in Newmarket Wednesday.

Irish agent Hugo Merry outbid both Narvick International's Emmanuel de Seroux and Gordian Troeller, representing U.S. interests, to secure the youngster who finished second in the Solario Stakes (Eng-III) at Sandown in August.

Epsom Derby (Eng-I) eighth Hazyview (GB) (Cape Cross {Ire}) realized the highest price of the day when owner Tom Mohan outbid jumping trainer Howard Johnson at 350,000gns. Mohan was buying out his partner in the colt, trainer Neville Callaghan. The dual stakes winner will return to Callaghan while future plans are decided.

The sale concludes Thursday with a session starting at 10a.m.
