Pleasantly Perfect Half-Brother Tops Tattersalls Session

Swagger Stick (Cozzene), a half-brother to Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Pleasantly Perfect (Pleasant Colony), topped day two of Tattersalls' Autumn Horses In Training Sale in Newmarket Tuesday when bought for 220,000gns to race in the US.

BBA Ireland agent Patrick Cooper – acting for an unspecified American owner – outbid big-spending British jumping trainer Howard Johnson for the 3-year-old, bought as a long-term jumping prospect for the United States.

The sale continues Wedneday with a session starting at 10 a.m.
