The catalogues for both the Tattersalls foal and breeding stock sales in England are out now and can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com. The foal sale has 1,115 lots and is scheduled for Nov. 24-27. The breeding stock auction has 1,207 lots and will run from Nov. 29 through Dec. 2.
Offerings include classic/group I winning fillies and mares Airwave, Frizzante, and Latice as well as the three-time group I winner Ipi Tombe; Kenmist, the dam of Prix du Moulin (Fr-I) winner Grey Lilas; and Renashaan, dam of Prix de l'Opera (Fr-I) winner Alexander Goldrun.
"Last year's December sales were a little out of the ordinary with the Wafic Said and Newgate Stud dispersals, but we have good solid catalogues across the board this year, and it has been a successful year throughout the world for graduates of the sale which should ensure the usual cosmopolitan cast of buyers," said Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony. "All of the top British and Irish stallions are well-represented in the doal catalogue and there is strength in depth to the breeding stock."
