Sense of Style, on track at Lone Star Park Sunday.
Sense of Style, the 2-year-old filly whose unbeaten record ended when she finished fifth in the Darley Alcibiades Stakes (gr. II) turned in her final prep for the Breeders'Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) Sunday when she breezed five-eighths of a mile in :59 4/5. She worked in company with stablemate Ball Four, who was timed in 1:00.

"Magnifique!" trainer Patrick Biancone said enthusiastically after the 2-year-old daughter of Thunder Gulch returned to the barn at Lone Star Park. "She did well. I am very pleased. She seems to like the track."

Biancone said Sense of Style, winner of the Spinaway Stakes (gr. II) and Matron (gr. .I) will need her "A" game to win the Juvenile Fillies.

The trainer said the filly was on her "C game" in her troubled trip in the Alcibiades, for which she was the 3-5 favorite. Biancone said the Juvenile Fillies was the major goal for Sense of Style this year and that the Alcibiades start was designed to give the filly a race around two turns. Despite the Alcibiades being somewhat of a prep, Biancone said, "Of course, we would prefer to win than be beaten."

Also working Sunday was Indy Groove, a 4-year-old daughter of .A.P. Indy being pointed toward the Breeders' Cup Distaff – Presented by Nextel (gr. I), who worked five furlongs in :59 2/5.

Trained by Tom Proctor, Indy Groove has won four of 11 starts and most recently won the Autumn Leaves Handicap at Mountaineer Park.

Meanwhile, the Juvenile Fillies lost another contender when Ready's Gal fractured her right hind pastern. The runner-up in the Frizette (gr. I) is trained by Todd Pletcher.
