Jockey Corey Nakatani is to serve a 30-day suspension from Dec. 26 through Feb. 3, 2005, the California Horse Racing Board has ruled.
The board recently denied Nakatani's appeal of the suspension, which stems from a rough-riding incident on March 6 at Santa Anita Park. The 30-day ban was originally issued on March 11.
As a condition of the ruling, Nakatani, who turned 34 on Oct. 21, will not be allowed to ride in designated races during the course of the suspension.
