Successful Appeal's Fee $25,000

Successful Appeal, the leading first-crop sire who was relocated this summer from Florida to Walmac International near Lexington, will stand for $25,000 in 2005. His fee for the 2004 season was $6,000.
Successful Appeal, who ranks second among all sires of 2-year-olds by progeny earnings, has sired the earners of $952,568, including four stakes winners.
"We are excited to be standing the leading first-crop sire in America, the second-leading sire of juveniles," said Walmac's John T.L. Jones III about the son of Valid Appeal out of the Fortunate Prospect mare Successful Dancer.
Successful Appeal's 2005 fee is the same as Yes It's True's fee. Is It True, third on the freshman sire list, also was relocated to Kentucky from Florida following the 2004 breeding season.
