XpressBet received a license from the Washington Horse Racing Commission to become the second authorized advance deposit wagering provider in the state Oct. 14.

XpressBet joins TVG, which received a license on June 10, as the only legal advance deposit account wagering providers in Washington.

Launched by Magna Entertainment Corp. in 2002, XpressBet and Emerald Downs, signed a multi-year agreement for the Washington market, which includes source market fee payments to the state's racing industry.

The U.S.-based account wagering provider offers pari-mutuel betting on Thoroughbred, harness and Quarterhorse racing events either online or by telephone.
